I was born in Brasil in Itapema, a beautiful little town near the ocean. I played volleyball in high school and planned to become a teacher. At age 19, I took what was supposed to be a short trip to Portugal. After traveling through Europe for 2 years, I came to the U.S. in 2003. Not long after, I met a cute American boy named Eric at a Dunkin Donuts drive-through window. One year later we were married and, in 2007, had a beautiful baby girl, Emma.
With my family far away and few friends with kids, the transition into motherhood was hard. I have always had a passion for fitness but, after having my first baby, I just couldn’t find the motivation to get back into shape. One day, while walking at Rotary Park in Wilmington, I saw a group of moms with strollers who were exercising AND singing to their babies. I’d never seen anything like it. I...more
Instructor (Stroller Barre)
My journey in the fitness industry began in college when I had the opportunity to instruct classes at the Boston University Fitness and Recreation center. What started out as a part-time job quickly turned into a passion that had shaped my whole life.
After college, I moved to Dallas, TX with my boyfriend (now husband) and pursued a career in corporate fitness management. After my daughter Evelyn was born, I decided to return part-time to my favorite aspect of the fitness industry - leading classes - and spent the rest the rest of my time as a stay at home mom.
I attended my first Stroller Strides class in Dallas when Evy was 12 weeks old. It was truly everything that I needed to get back to myself both physically and mentally. As a new mom who was far from friends and family, I was so grateful to find a warm and welcoming group. The fact that they were working out with their babies in tow was the icing on the...more
When we moved to Massachusetts in May 2015, our new neighbor told me about Stroller Strides. I attended my first class a few days later and was immediately hooked. I loved being able to get out of the house and get a workout without having to pay for childcare, while also getting to spend time with other moms and their babies. Not to mention the built-in playdate for my daughter!
It’s been eight months since that first Stroller Strides class, and it’s one of the best decisions I have ever made. I always look forward to starting our day on a healthy note with a good workout, seeing and talking with the other moms who have quickly become friends, and watching my daughter play with the other children. It's amazing to see how much the children absorb from attending these classes. I feel proud when I see my daughter mimicking the exercises and singing the songs we sing at class.

I found Stroller Strides almost 3 years ago when my first son was about 10 weeks old. I had recently quit my job as an event planner and decided to stay home full time. I knew I needed to get back in shape and had been looking for something that would actually fit my lifestyle, rather than pay a fortune for a gym membership that I would never use. I was so thankful to have found Fit4Mom! It has completely changed the way I view working out. I used to hate it! Now, with two little ones, I look forward to it as part of my regular routine.
After some convincing, I signed up for a session of Body Back, and found my place. I was able to really focus on myself for the first time in a long time, and I loved it. I was getting some much needed "me" time, while becoming a stronger, healthier version of myself. After only a month of doing it, I became an instructor. My goal now is to create workouts that make you sweat, but are fun...more

I was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where I was an avid field hockey player. I achieved my dream of becoming an elementary school teacher while playing field hockey in college. I married my high school sweetheart who is in the Army. We have lived in Missouri and Georgia where I taught first, third, and fifth grade and also coached at field hockey camps. With the many moves and changes that come with the military lifestyle, fitness has been a constant in my life.
This past summer, in the middle of our move to Massachusetts, we made a pit stop in Virginia Beach to have our daughter Chloe. My world was changed forever, especially when we moved away from our supportive family when she was only 6 weeks old. I was actively searching for any mommy baby classes I could get my hands on. When I found stroller strides, I thought it would be a great way to work out and meet new people in the area. Boy, was I...
I was born in San Angelo, TX and lived there for a few months before starting my international adventure as an Air Force brat. I've lived in 3 States (TX, MA & NH) and 3 countries (USA, Italy & Belgium), landing in Lynn, MA upon my father's retirement. My active lifestyle was initiated as a child, partaking in various activities: dance & gymnastics led to softball, basketball, tennis, volleyball, soccer & cross-country, but it wasn't until adulthood that I discovered pilates and yoga.
I got certified as a yoga Instructor in 2011, AFAA Group Ex Instructor in 2013, and 2015 was the year I started instructing Pilates & Stroller Strides and became an ACE Certified Personal Trainer.
My husband and I bought our Tewksbury home in 2014 and I had my daughter, Naoemi, that same year. In May...more
