Instructor (Stroller Barre)
My journey in the fitness industry began in college when I had the opportunity to instruct classes at the Boston University Fitness and Recreation center. What started out as a part-time job quickly turned into a passion that had shaped my whole life.
After college, I moved to Dallas, TX with my boyfriend (now husband) and pursued a career in corporate fitness management. After my daughter Evelyn was born, I decided to return part-time to my favorite aspect of the fitness industry - leading classes - and spent the rest the rest of my time as a stay at home mom.
I attended my first Stroller Strides class in Dallas when Evy was 12 weeks old. It was truly everything that I needed to get back to myself both physically and mentally. As a new mom who was far from friends and family, I was so grateful to find a warm and welcoming group. The fact that they were working out with their babies in tow was the icing on the cake for this fitness-loving mom!
When I moved back to MA, I was so thankful to find another local Fit4Mom Stroller Strides group. After nearly 2 years of participating in Stroller Strides classes , I finally took the step of becoming certified as a Fit4Mom instructor!
My goal as an instructor has always been to create classes that are challenging AND fun, so that participants look forward to incorporating exercise into their lives. I'm so excited to have the opportunity to continue my fitness journey with Fit4Mom and share my love of fitness, fun, and family with all of the local Moms and kiddos!
